Agency Policies, Procedures & Role Clarity connects day-to-day caregiving with Olivia’s service plans, policies, reporting pathways, EVV duties, and accountability expectations.

What You Will Learn

• Identify the sources that authorize caregiver work.
• Stay within the non-medical role and ask before acting when unsure.
• Follow core procedures for emergencies, incidents, privacy, infection control, medication support, and rights.
• Use the correct emergency, urgent, or routine escalation path.
• Document truthfully and respond properly to policy updates or mistakes.

This course supports caregiver education. Staff must also follow the participant’s current service plan, Olivia Home Care Services policies, emergency procedures, and applicable program requirements. Course completion does not replace hands-on competency verification or licensed clinical instruction when required.
